Hygiene protocol

To prevent the spread of the coronavirus and to ensure the safety of our guests and staff, we have established a protocol. We follow the guidelines established by the RKI, the Free State of Bavaria and the City of Bayreuth. We are following the developments closely and, if necessary, we adapt the protocol immediately.

General measures

  1. all employees are aware of this protocol and are obliged to follow these guidelines. Employees with symptoms of illness do not come to work. We encourage them to work from home if their work permits.
  2. we ask guests to first disinfect their hands when entering. There are disinfection stations at the entrance, at the reception, in front of the breakfast area and in the conference area.
  3. a maximum of 1 guest may use the public toilets at a time.
  4. guests are requested to use the elevators individually and with mouth and nose protection. The operation of the elevators is disinfected with great regularity.
  5. employees wash their hands at least once an hour according to RKI guidelines
  6. we ask guests to pay without contact.

Restaurant

  1. all guests must keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters from each other
  2. we use one-way traffic as much as possible.
  3. a minimum distance of 1.5 meters is also required at the bar.
  4. the tables in the restaurant are at least 1.5 meters apart.
  5. guests must disinfect their hands at the disinfection column at the entrance before sitting down at a table
  6. we serve at the table. If the guest appreciates it, we place the order on settling tables.
  7. contact surfaces and menus are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each visit.

 

Terrace

  1. there are only seats on the terrace The tables on the terrace are at least 1.5 meters apart.
  2. guests must disinfect their hands at the disinfection column in the reception area before sitting at a table on the terrace.
  3. we serve at the table. If the guest appreciates it, we place the order on settling tables.
  4. contact surfaces and menus are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each visit.

Reception

  1. reception is arranged so that there is a distance of 1.5 meters between staff and guests.
  2. all keys used are disinfected

Room

  1. at check-in, guests are asked if they would like their room cleaned during their stay The staff will only enter the hotel room if the guests have agreed to this and there are no guests in the rooms.
  2. all housekeeping staff wear mouth and nose protection and gloves when cleaning the hotel rooms. The rooms will be thoroughly cleaned in accordance with RKI guidelines. In addition, all contact surfaces are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each stay.
  3. room service is provided on a room service cart. An employee knocks on the door and asks the guest to remove the tray from the trolley. The employee stays at a distance in the corridor and does not enter the hotel room.

Conferences & Events

  1. guests must keep a distance of 1.5 meters, we have prepared different seating arrangements to meet this requirement
  2. guests must disinfect their hands on the column before entering the conference room
  3. the same rules apply for serving food and drinks as in the restaurant.
